FITA Press é a casa editorial da instituição cultural FITA - Friends In The Arts. Dedica-se à publicação de obras literárias, do romance à poesia, e académicas, da monografia aos estudos interdisciplinares, movendo-se na constelação das Artes e Humanidades. Produz livros, revistas e catálogos, que ecoam as vozes de escritores, artistas e investigadores internacionais, construindo uma ponte entre o gesto e a memória.  A FITA Press constitui um arquivo transversal, que convoca o diálogo entre culturas e o avanço do conhecimento.

Dedicated to publishing literary works, from novels to poetry, and academic works, from monographs to interdisciplinary studies, FITA Press moves within the constellation of the Arts and Humanities. Produces books, magazines, and catalogs that echo the voices of international writers, artists, and researchers, building a bridge between gesture and memory. FITA Press is a cross-disciplinary archive that fosters dialogue between cultures and the advancement of knowledge.

In the footsteps of James Joyce, we witness the creation of the noble art of writing. Nothing could have predicted that the path he was following would shine its light on other cities, where the young writer boldly conquered a privileged place aboard Ulysses' ship. Os International FITA Awards foram criados pela instituição cultural FITA - Friends In The Arts com a missão de distinguir o que melhor se tem produzido nas artes a nível mundial. A literatura pronunciou-se nesta edição, porque se sentia a clara afirmação da palavra manuscrita, digna de incontáveis metamorfoses ao longo dos milénios. Da escrita cuneiforme ao latim, o peso de cada verso é sentido nos épicos de Gilgamesh e de Ulisses. A FITA abre as portas a novas gerações de artistas, preparados para se afirmarem e deixarem a sua marca nas bibliotecas, galerias, museus, instituições culturais e universidades.

The International FITA Awards were created by the cultural institution FITA - Friends In The Arts with the mission to distinguish the best that has been produced in the arts worldwide. Literature made its presence felt in this edition, because one could sense the clear affirmation of the handwritten word, worthy of countless metamorphoses over the millennia. From the cuneiform writing to ancient Greek, the weight of each verse is felt in the epics of Gilgamesh and Ulysses. FITA opens its doors to new generations of artists, prepared to assert themselves and leave their mark in libraries, galleries, museums, cultural institutions and universities.
